Livestream shows shinies: On Friday night, the data miner Chrales announced a special stream. The data miner has correctly predicted many events and new Pokémon in the past, which he found in the code of Pokémon GO.
In his latest leak, everything revolves around new shiny models.
New Shinies in Pokémon GO – But not yet in the wild
Almost all shinies from Gen 1 and 2: In the stream, Chrales showed several shinies from the first and second generation of Pokémon. However, these are not all.
New shinies not yet in the wild: While many monsters now have their shiny model in Pokémon GO, not all of them can be found in the wild. The new models could be seen as a kind of preparation for a release sometime in the future.
It is assumed that the new shiny models are found in the code due to the Unity update of the new patch.
Keep your hype in check: This stream from the data miner was not an announcement for a huge shiny event.
It is unclear whether Niantic is planning such an event at all or if the shinies have just been integrated into the game as a precaution. There are currently no clear signs that an event is supposed to start in this context.
