Hisui-Dressella makes its debut in Pokémon GO during its own Raid Day. We show you how to make the most of the event.
When is the event? The Raid Day featuring the Hisui form of Dressella takes place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. During these 3 hours, you have the chance to challenge and catch the monster in 3-star raids.
What kind of Pokémon is this? Dressella is a monster from Generation 5, which has the types Grass and Fighting in its Hisui form. It evolves from Lilminip, but in Pokémon GO, only the regular form of Dressella can evolve from Lilminip.
Raid Day with Hisui-Dressella – Content and Tips
What bonuses are available at the event? You can look forward to the following bonuses during the event:
- up to 5 additional raid passes by spinning gym discs
- increased chance of the Shiny variant of Hisui-Dressella
- the limit for remote raids is increased to 20 (from Friday, July 11, 2025, at 5:00 PM to Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 8:00 PM)
Event Ticket: For $4.99 (approximately €5), you can also purchase a ticket for the event. Here you can expect the following bonuses, all of which are active during the event:
- an additional 8 raid passes by spinning gym discs
- increased chance of XL Candy (from level 31)
- 50% more experience points from raids
- doubled amount of Stardust from raids
How to make the most of the event: The optimal process for the event is as follows:
- visit a gym
- defeat Hisui-Dressella
- spin the gym disc and receive a new raid pass
- visit the next gym and repeat the process
Note that you will only receive a new raid pass if you have consumed the current one.
Which counters are effective? Since Hisui-Dressella has the types Grass and Fighting, it has a double weakness to Flying-type attacks. Therefore, focus on such attackers to challenge the monster. Possible attackers can be found in our list of the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
As these raids are 3-star raids, you shouldn’t have any problems defeating the monster alone with a reasonably strong team at acceptable levels.
