In Pokémon GO appears Endynalos in the event Darkness. How can you catch it? Let’s take a look!
What is Endynalos? Endynalos is a gigantic Dragon and Poison-type Pokémon from outer space, which will become one of the absolute most powerful monsters in Pokémon GO. Additionally, it has an exciting adventure effect.
It comes from the games Sword and Shield, is the archenemy of Zacian and Zamazenta, and is also partly responsible for the Dynamax phenomenon.
In line with this, it gets a pretty big introduction to Pokémon GO during this week with the event combination of Darkness
and Dyna-Finale

But how do you catch Endynalos?
First trainers have already caught it: Those who were at the World Championships in Anaheim were able to catch Endynalos using a limited-time research (via Reddit). All others will need to earn it over the week through the new GO Pass: Dyna-Finale. We summarize more about it here.
How do I catch Endynalos in Pokémon GO?
This is how you get the GO Pass: The GO Pass: Dyna-Finale will be unlocked on Monday, August 18 at 10:00 AM. It is active until August 24 at 9:00 PM local time.
In this pass, you earn points by completing tasks, allowing you to level up. We are familiar with this from previous GO passes. Until Friday, there is a daily limit on the points you can earn. On Saturday and Sunday during the Dyna-Finale, there is no upper limit.
What do the tasks look like? Currently, it seems that the tasks mainly involve completing raids and Dyna battles. Trainers who already have the pass are posting about this on Reddit.
At what level is Endynalos? Endynalos apparently appears as a reward at level 60. So you need to gather quite a few points and shouldn’t miss the opportunity.
How do I improve Endynalos? As usual, you improve Endynalos with candies, but the upgrades will be significantly candy-intensive compared to what you’re used to. To get Endynalos to level 40, you currently have to expect to need 8,900 candies if you catch it at level 15 (as pointed out by a trainer on Reddit). However, the jump to level 50 is hefty, requiring another 8,900 XL candies.
However, you also receive many candies in the pass (via Reddit), say some who can already play with the pass. In the paid version of the pass, there’s reportedly even more. Nevertheless, these are overall high demands. It remains to be seen how many candies you will get from Dynamax battles when you fight against Dynamax-Endynalos next weekend.
