Recently, it has been announced in Pokémon GO that Team Rocket is up to something again. The villains left notes showing that they seem to want to steal our Pokémon.
This was found: In recent days, small drawings have repeatedly surfaced on the social networks of Pokémon GO. These show Rocket Grunts and the hot air balloon that was already found in the code.
The drawings depict a new plan by the Grunts. They apparently want to get to our Pokémon by balloon!
Is a new Rocket feature coming soon?
These are the drawings: The images always show Grunts and the balloon. They seem to be some kind of instruction for the villains on how to handle the balloon.
The first two images that have emerged show a Grunt setting up the balloon and the plan of the villains. In the image, a net is thrown over a Pikachu.
Then it continues with Team Rocket’s plans. They apparently want to come down from the balloon by rope and attack you. When they then escape, they quickly leave by balloon and just ascend.
The last two snippets show an instruction on how to fly with the balloon. Not too close to gyms or the sun. If a trainer wants to attack the balloon, just ascend.
What could these findings mean? It appears that the leak about the Rocket Balloons is real. Niantic is likely teasing the next feature here.
If all these snippets actually come true, then Team Rocket seems to be after our Pokémon. So far, it is still unclear whether the villains will suddenly appear and attack us. After all, this was the case in the console games, and Team Rocket also just appeared in the anime.
When could the feature come? The findings in the code and these snippets show that it won’t be long before the Rocket Balloon appears.
Perhaps the GO Fest would be a plausible time frame. After all, a surprise is expected on the second day of the event. And thieving Rocket Grunts would certainly be a surprise.
