Trainers are frustrated: After raid battles, a green screen appears in Pokémon GO. The reason is unclear, but it happens to many players.
Those trainers among you who regularly raid have probably already noticed the latest Pokémon GO bug. After a raid battle, a green screen appears and nothing happens. The error occurs when you have defeated the raid boss and start the capture challenge.
Green Screen in Pokémon GO
Many players are reporting on Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms about a new bug that has sneaked into Pokémon GO in recent days. Affected are players who fight in raids. After the Pokémon boss is defeated, the raid event should actually transition to “catching.” But that’s exactly where the system gets stuck.
A green screen appears and causes a forced pause. A restart of the Pokémon GO app helps against this.
Raid boss has incorrect CP
After restarting the app, some trainers notice that they can no longer see the “correct” CP values of the bosses. It seems that due to the bug, every trainer who participated in this fight is shown the same (incorrect) CP.
Even if every trainer sees the same CP, the actual competition points have already been established. When you catch the boss, you will see these.
To recognize the actual CP even before the catch, pay close attention to how the CP of the boss decreases after it is defeated. The points display will eventually freeze, and those are the actual points.
Do not enter raids in the last 5 minutes!
To avoid losing or wasting your raid passes due to this bug, you should not enter raids with countdowns under 5 minutes remaining. There is simply too little time left to restart the app and start the catch challenge.
The raid boss Entei will leave us and make way for a new legendary Pokémon
