In Pokémon GO there is a new weekly challenge. However, it probably won’t keep you busy for the whole week.
What is the new task? If you log in to Pokémon GO today, you can find the new weekly challenge. It is: “Complete 25 Field Research tasks.” You can complete the task in groups of up to four players.
The following bonuses are available as rewards:
- 6,000 Stardust
- 20,000 XP
- 7 Friendship points
Especially, the 7 Friendship points are likely to be of interest to most. You will receive them with all players with whom you complete the task together. This will help you advance faster in terms of friendship levels and get closer to your first remote trade.
How do I start and complete the new weekly challenge in Pokémon GO?
To start the new challenge, proceed as follows:
- Click the Trainer menu in the bottom left
- Select the “Groups” option in the top right
- There, start the new task
- Through “Select Crew”, you can invite three friends to complete the task with you
How to complete the task: Even alone, completing 25 Field Research tasks over the course of a week would be quite simple; with four players, it should be done very quickly.
Important: Make sure to actually get a total of four active players together. Not only will this make the task easier, but you will also receive the friendship bonuses with players with whom you might want to do remote trades in the future.
If you want to make it even easier for yourself: Delete more difficult Field Research tasks and replace them with easier ones by spinning at PokéStops and trying to find new ones. For example, it is noticeably easier to perform three upgrades on Pokémon than to win a five-star raid.
However: Overall, you shouldn’t have any timing issues if you start the task now.
