Some Pokémon that had no further evolutions in the first generation can now be evolved into Pokémon of Generation 2 through the Update 0.57.2. The new evolutions in Pokémon GO allow monsters of Generation 1 to become monsters of Generation 2. For example, Golbat was the highest evolutionary stage of Zubat in Generation 1. Since Niantic released the new Pokémon, Golbat can evolve into Iksbat.

Pokémon GO Evolution Stones: Where to find Sundstone, King Stone, Metal Coat, Dragon Scale, and Up-Grade?
