A new bug in Pokémon GO transforms Pokémon like Sunkern into Poké Balls that you can still throw.
Trainers notice that they suddenly throw Pokémon at the wild monsters in the game instead of Poké Balls. This new glitch is only a few days old. The balls take on the appearance of the monsters, but the functionality remains unchanged. You can still catch with them.
Funny Bugs and Glitches – Pokémon Become Balls
Bugs have occurred since the event: Since the start of the Johto event, trainers have been encountering these funny errors in the game. In the following video, you can see how the trainer spots a Natu in the wild, but there are already visual issues. The monster is hardly visible, often even invisible.
When the trainer finally tries to catch it, the Poké Ball glitch occurs. And suddenly, his ball transforms into a Natu, bearing the colors and patterns of a Hyper Ball. See the curious encounter for yourself:

- Trainer IAmButtAMan had a problem with his Sunkern, which lay on its side after being caught.
No danger: So far, it seems that the bugs and glitches are completely harmless. You can continue to catch Pokémon; it just looks very strange.
