The field research for September 2019 in Pokémon GO is here. We show you what tasks, shinies, and rewards await you.

What’s new? On the evening of September 1, the tasks of the field research in Pokémon GO changed. Trainers have since gathered new research and their rewards.

We show you here in the overview what new tasks are available and with which Pokémon encounters and possible shinies you will be rewarded.

New Field Research – Quests – in September 2019

These findings come from the community at TheSilhproad. Throughout the day, these quests will be updated again.

Throws

• Land 5 great curveball throws in a row – Encounter with Pandir #3*
• Land 3 great throws – Encounter with Haspiror*, Nebulak*, Anorith* or Liliep
• Land 3 great throws in a row – Encounter with Onix*
• Land 5 good throws – Encounter with Voltobal
• Land 3 fantastic throws in a row – Encounter with Larvitar*

Catching

• Catch 5 fairy-type Pokémon – Encounter with Marill
• Catch 3 different species of psychic Pokémon – Encounter with Traumato*
• Catch 3 fire, water or electric Pokémon – Encounter with Dodu
• Use 5 Himmihbeeren to catch Pokémon – Encounter with Quiekel*
• Use 5 berries to catch Pokémon – Encounter with Schneppke*
• Catch 5 normal-type Pokémon – Encounter with Zigzachs*
• Catch 4 ice or grass-type Pokémon – Encounter with Jurob*
• Use 10 Nanab berries when catching Pokémon – Encounter with Sichlor*
• Catch 15 Pokémon – Encounter with Sandan*
• Catch 10 Pokémon – Encounter with Karpador*
• Catch 5 Pokémon with weather boost – Encounter with Quapsel* or Vulpix
• Catch 1 dragon-type Pokémon – Encounter with Dratini*
• Catch 3 dark-type Pokémon – Encounter with Fiffyen*

Developing

• Develop 1 Pokémon – Encounter with Tragosso*

For this quest, there was initially a chance to encounter an Evoli with a flower crown during the new field research. However, reports about it have decreased. It is assumed that Niantic took this reward back because these special Evoli are now available as research breakthroughs.

Trainer Battles

• Fight 2 times against another trainer – Encounter with Frizelbliz* (new shiny!)

• Fight 2 times against a team leader – Encounter with Natu*
