What is field research? In addition to limited-time research and special research, you can secure quests at PokéStops every day in Pokémon GO. These include smaller tasks that reward you with various items, Mega Energy, Stardust, or Pokémon encounters.
However, Niantic changes the tasks and rewards of this research every month, which means you can find different content in September again. We have summarized which monsters you can encounter this month below.

These are the tasks: As every month, you will again find the most diverse quests in the field research, which will revolve around throwing, catching, fighting, and interacting with friends and your buddy.
What tasks and rewards await you precisely, we have summarized for you with the help of the overview from LeekDuck in the graphic below. Pokémon that can be found as Shiny have been marked with a Shiny symbol.
As you can see in the graphic, there are again the most diverse Pokémon that can even appear as Shiny with a bit of luck. And also the one or other monster, whose evolution is among the best attackers in Pokémon GO, can be caught by you.
For special events, the quests are also supplemented by special event research that brings you additional encounters. You can recognize these by an event note below the task.
How do you get the tasks? You receive the field research by spinning PokéStops. At the same time, you can hold a maximum of 4 quests including AR tasks in the game. You will find these to solve in the field view, which you can access by clicking on the binoculars.
If you complete at least one of these tasks every day, you will receive a special research breakthrough after 7 days, which brings you additional rewards as well as a Pokémon encounter. In September, you can secure an encounter with Galar-Porenta, Larvitar, Zobiris, Kindwurm, Coffwaff, or Viscora in this way. All can also appear as Shiny with a bit of luck.
