What’s new: Together with the new research breakthrough that is available in January, new quests have also been added that you can now complete.

All new field researches and quests in January 2020
All quests have been compiled and confirmed by players at TheSilphRoad. Should any further field researches be added, we will update this over the next few days.
What is generally noticeable: There are not many new field researches in January 2020. Most of the Pokémon from the Christmas event can now be found in the new quests.
It seems that Niantic is giving players the chance to continue hunting the event Pokémon even after the event has ended.
All Pokémon marked with an asterisk (*) can also be caught as Shiny from field research.

Shiny Pandir Number 7
This new Shiny is available: Players report that you can now encounter Pandir with the number 7 as Shiny. Pandir #7 has been available in the past, but it had not been encounterable as Shiny until now.
To potentially get the Shiny, you must complete the quests “Land 5 great curveball throws in a row”.
