With this calculator, you can easily calculate the catch chance for different Pokémon in Pokémon GO.
The tool helps you find out how high your chances are to catch a specific Pokémon. Just a few weeks ago, Niantic released the catch bonus feature, which increases your chance of catching rare Pokémon. So you don’t waste Poké Balls on a Pokémon with a particularly low catch chance, you can check this chance beforehand with this new calculator. We show you how the calculator works.
Catch Chance Calculator for Pokémon GO
To calculate how high the catch chance is for a specific Pokémon, the folks at PokémonGOHub have developed a special calculator. It uses the GUCT formula, which calculates the catch chance. GUCT stands for Grand Unified Catch Theory and takes into account all the information known about catching wild Pokémon. To increase the catch chance of a wild Pokémon, you can throw different Poké Balls, use your catch bonus medals to your advantage, or throw curveballs. Learn how to throw proper curveballs here.
To find out how high the chance is to catch a specific Pokémon, visit the calculator on PokémonGOHub.net. There, you select the corresponding Pokémon (currently only English names) and enter your trainer level. Next, you can choose what rank your catch bonus medals for the various Pokémon types are. Then, decide whether you want to catch the Pokémon with a curveball and whether you use a berry to catch it. The result will then be displayed in a table.
Here you see the catch chance for Pinsir while the trainer is level 26, has the Bronze Bug Medal, throws a curveball, and uses a berry. There are minor differences depending on which type of Poké Ball you throw and whether that throw is normal, great, excellent, or fantastic. In line with the Halloween event, currently taking place in Pokémon GO, you can quickly find out which spooky Pokémon you can already catch without any problems.
