This week marks the beginning of Adventure Week in Pokémon GO, where Rock-type Pokémon will appear more frequently. We will show you which rare monsters are involved.
Adventure Week in Pokémon GO offers trainers plenty of reasons to get outside and hunt for monsters. Reduced prices for Poké Balls and more items from PokéStops are at least as appealing as the more frequently appearing Rock-type Pokémon. A few specimens of them can be useful for many players in their collection, and the new event provides the opportunity to easily stock up on them.
We will show you which Rock-type monsters could be relevant for Adventure Week.
Rock-type Pokémon – Overview
The frequency of certain Pokémon types has already been increased in recent events. During the Water Festival, there were higher chances of encountering Squirtle, Croagunk, Magikarp, and other water friends. The Plant Event “Global Blooming” brought more Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Tangela, and other monsters of the Grass type to trainers’ radars.
Adventure Week attracts with more frequent spawns of Rock-type Pokémon. The event announcement states that you should keep an eye out for Omanyte, Kabuto, and their evolutions. But these are by no means all the Rock Pokémon that exist in Pokémon GO.
During Adventure Week, you can find these Pokémon more frequently in the wild:
- Geodude, Graveler, Golem
- Rhyhorn, Rhydon
- Onix*
- Omanyte, Omastar*
- Kabuto, Kabutops*
- Aerodactyl*
- Shuckle*
- Wailmer
- Magcargo
- Larvitar, Pupitar, Tyranitar
In the press release, Niantic emphasized the Pokémon groups marked with a star * in the list. It is expected that these Pokémon will be notably common in the wild.
