The Pokémon GO Egg Festival starts today and is active for a week. Double experience and special eggs await you!
Starting today, you can participate in the Easter event 2017 in Pokémon GO, where cool bonuses and strong rewards await you. Over the next seven days, you can find new Pokémon in 2KM eggs and even get additional rewards when a Pokémon hatches from an egg. Additionally, more experience points await you to level up your trainer.

Pokémon GO Egg Spectacle – Easter 2017
Put on your running shoes and get ready for the Egg Festival in Pokémon GO. Today, April 13th, the big Easter event kicks off at 10:00 PM. You will have a week to take advantage of the bonuses, which will be deactivated again on April 20th at 10:00 PM. During this time, you have a good chance to greatly increase your trainer level and add a lot more options to your Pokémon collection. Here’s what to expect at the Easter Event 2017:
- The 2KM eggs offer something special for you. During the event, you can expect a wider variety of Pokémon to hatch from these eggs than ever before. These are the Pokémon that can now hatch from 2KM eggs.
- The developers have come up with even more for the Pokémon GO eggs:
- You earn more candies for each egg that you hatch. The developers have not yet specified an exact number. We will update this article as soon as we have more information on this.
- Important Note: Only eggs you received after the start of the event count towards this. 2KM eggs already in your inventory before the event are not affected.
As a big bonus, during the entire event, double experience points for your actions in the game. If you combine this bonus with lucky eggs, you’ll earn four times the experience points. So this event is perfect for greatly boosting your trainer level.
