Eevee gets a Community Day in Pokémon GO for two days! On August 11 and 12, you will encounter the little Normal-type Pokémon more often, and there will also be some bonuses.
When does the Community Day start in August? Eevee will appear on August 11 and 12, from 11 AM to 2 PM. This makes Eevee the first Pokémon to have a two-day Community Day.
Why is Eevee here for two days? Niantic finds it fair since Eevee has so many different evolutions. With the release of upcoming generations, there will be even more. So make sure to stock up on Eevee!
Community Day in August: The Bonuses
As is customary for a Community Day, there will be bonuses for you. These bonuses will apply to both Eevee days, where you will encounter the Pokémon more frequently.
Bonuses:
- lure modules last for 3 hours instead of 30 minutes
- catching Pokémon earns you triple stardust
- Weather Boost: Partly Cloudy
- Special Event Move: Still unknown. This will be revealed shortly before the event
Shiny Eevee and its Evolutions
You also have a good chance to obtain the shiny variants of all previously released Eevees during the Community Day. Below is a graphic from pokemongohub that shows all shiny variants.
