Currently, you can receive a free item for Pokémon GO. MeinMMO shows you what you need to do for it.
Every now and then, there are promo codes in Pokémon GO that you can redeem for free rewards. These can be limited-time research tasks, accessories for your avatar, or items.
Now there is a new code that will grant you a free item. However, you need to do a small task for it, which currently does not work for all trainers.
Pick up the quest, snag the code – when you see them
What kind of item is it? The code that this time is generated individually for your account and is not the same for all trainers can be redeemed in the webstore. For this, you will receive 200 Dyna-Particles in the game.
What do I have to do? To receive the code and thus the Dyna-Particles, you need to be logged into Discord and complete a so-called quest here. If you are not and don’t want to miss out on the particles, you can register there for free.
Then open the link to the quest on Discord or go to the quest overview on Discord. Here, look for the corresponding quest for Pokémon GO and take it on.
After that, you will receive a QR code that you must scan with your phone. Now you need to watch a video and afterwards receive your promo code.
How do I redeem the code? Once you have received the code, you can redeem it in the Pokémon GO webstore. Afterwards, you will receive the particles in the game. If they don’t appear immediately, wait a few minutes or try closing the game and reopening it.
How long do I have to receive the code? The quest on Discord ends on November 17, 2025. By then, you need to have picked it up and watched the video. It is not known whether the code can only be redeemed until then.
Why is the quest not working? Some trainers report on Reddit that they are having a hard time receiving and completing the quest. MeinMMO author Paul Kutzner is currently experiencing issues with it as well. After scanning the QR code, he can neither see nor complete the quest on his phone.
What the cause is and whether the error will be fixed for the affected trainers is currently unknown.
