Allegedly we could play Pokemon Go in Germany within a few days – on iOS and Android devices.
Niantic, the PR agency of Pokemon Go developer, apparently informed some press representatives about the official release date of the EU version of Pokemon Go.
Pokemon Go – official download at the end of the week?
Breaking news on July 9, 2016: Pokemon GO: Launch in Germany postponed!
Currently, you can play Pokemon Go in Germany on your iOS or Android device, but only if you manually download the APK or change your Apple ID. According to a tweet, Pokemon Go should be available for download later this week.
In countries other than Germany, you can already catch Pokemon outside in nature. In Australia, even the police are setting the first boundaries for aspiring trainers! So let’s hope that the tweet is correct and that by the end of this week, we can also go outside and catch the first Pokemon right at our doorstep. You can see what battles and Pokemon look like in real, natural settings in these Pokemon Go screenshots!
