The Community Day of Pokémon GO in August has been announced! This time it revolves around Trasla. We will show you Shinys, bonuses, and the date.
After the starter Hydropi was featured in July, a non-starter had to follow in August. Niantic has chosen the Psychic Pokémon Trasla for this.
In addition to Trasla, there will also be some bonuses. We give you an overview.
Community Day in August – All info about date and bonuses
When is the Community Event? It was already known when the Community Day starts. It begins early in August on the 03.08. from 4 PM to 7 PM.
Niantic confirms, however, that this will be the last Community Day with these hours. In September, it will be pushed back by one hour.
What are the bonuses? As usual on a Community Day, there are numerous bonuses this time as well. So there are:
- Reduction of egg distance to a quarter
- Three-hour lure modules
- Trasla will be more frequently catchable in the wild
- An exclusive move will be announced later
What do we know about the move? So far, nothing can be said about this. It will be interesting to see how Niantic resolves it, as there are two final evolutions: Guardevoir and Galagladi.
However, it will be difficult to teach the two Pokémon a move that actually makes them better. Therefore, a completely new move could possibly be introduced.
Shiny Trasla, Kirlia, Guardevoir and Galagladi
Will there be Shiny Trasla? Yes, Trasla will appear as Shiny as well. Niantic confirmed this. The probability should be, as usual for a Community Day, 1 in 25.
What does the Shiny look like? You can easily recognize the Shiny family, as they are blue instead of green.
