Today, on April 13th, the Community Day in April featuring Surskit is taking place in Pokémon GO. We provide information about start time, bonuses, and Shinies, so you can be as prepared as possible.
What are Community Days? Once a month, the Community Day occurs in Pokémon GO. A special Pokémon appears more frequently for 3 hours, there are special bonuses, and the Shiny form of the Pokémon is available.
In April 2019, the featured Pokémon is Surskit. Its evolution, Salamence, is one of the strongest Pokémon in the game.
Community Day in March – Exact Times and Bonuses
When: On Saturday, April 13th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM German time
Pokémon of the Day: Surskit
Exclusive Attack: Outrage (only Salamence)
Bonus: Triple experience points for catching Pokémon
Bonus: 3-hour Lure Modules
Additional Bonus: To learn the exclusive attack Outrage, Salamence can be evolved until 7 PM
This is important regarding the times: Since the Community Day featuring Treecko, there are new event times. The Community Day now starts in the afternoon at 3 PM and not already at 11 AM.
Shiny Surskit, Masquerain, and Salamence
This is known about Shiny Surskit: Shiny Surskit is now available in the game. Trainers have already been able to catch it. Take your chance during the Community Day to secure Shinies.
Is Salamence with Outrage worth it?
How does Salamence learn this attack? Salamence can only learn the move Outrage through evolution. It is important that you evolve a Masquerain on the event day between 3 PM and 7 PM. Only then will it learn the attack. You cannot teach Outrage with TMs.
This is how worthwhile Salamence with Outrage is: The attack significantly improves Salamence. It becomes one of the best Dragon attackers in the game. Only Rayquaza ranks ahead of Salamence. Therefore, it is definitely worth getting this attack.
Watch for Surskit with these CP – 100% IV
This weather is good for Surskit: Surskit is a Dragon-type Pokémon, so it benefits from weather bonuses in windy weather.
This CP can Surskit reach in the wild: Without the weather bonus, Surskit can reach a maximum of 991 CP. When it’s windy, Surskit can even reach a maximum of 1073 CP in the wild.

You can enter the list below into your search bar in the game. It will then show you potential 100% IV Surskit. However, at another level, this may not be 100% IV.

- Balls – 200 pieces or more
- To catch enough Pokémon, you definitely need Balls. You should have at least 200 ready, as you will use more Balls than you generate.
