The Community Day in April focuses on the Dragon Pokémon Dratini in Pokemon GO! We will reveal everything about the start time, the shinies, and the bonuses that will be available at the event.
This is the Community Day in April: On April 13, the Community Day will last for three hours. The event times remain the same, as the special event will take place from 3 PM to 6 PM.
This time there will be a triple XP bonus for catching Pokémon. Additionally, there will be more bonuses surrounding the event.
Community Day in April 2019 – Bonuses and Shinies
These are the bonuses: In addition to the double XP, the following bonuses will be available:
- Triple XP for catching Pokémon
- Three-hour lure modules
- Dratini will appear more frequently in the wild
- An exclusive move (likely for Salamence) will be announced in the coming days
What makes Dratini so special: Dratini has been requested by many players as a Community Day Pokémon. Its evolution Salamence is among the best Dragon attackers in the game, which is why this event could be quite useful.
Is there a Shiny Dratini? So far, there has been a shiny form of the event Pokémon at every Community Day. This will probably be the case for Dratini as well.
The shiny will be relatively easy to recognize, as it is green instead of blue.
What is known about the move? Not much is known about the special move. The starter Pokémon all have fixed moves that they can learn on Community Days, but for the current event, we are still completely in the dark.
Salamence already knows Draco Meteor, the exclusive move that Dragonite could learn at the Dratini event. So this move is already out of the question.
