The Christmas event in Pokémon GO has started and also brings new raid bosses. These mostly revolve around the Ice type. We will show you which ones are worth it.
Why are there new bosses? It was already mentioned in the event announcement that new bosses would come. Now the Christmas event is running and the old raid bosses are gone.
The new ones adapt to the icy spawns and bring you various possible shinies.

All bosses with a star (*) can also be caught in shiny version.
Which bosses should you secure? The only really strong Pokémon is Keifel. Its evolution Mamutel is the best ice attacker in the game and must not be missing in any team.
If you enjoy hunting shinies, you should keep an eye out for Damhirplex. This Pokémon is quite rare in the wild, which is why you should definitely invest in a raid pass or two here.
What can be generally said about the bosses? The bosses are not particularly strong this time. Except for Keifel, there is no strong ice attacker. Pokémon like Sniebel or even a Glaziola would fit, but they are missing.
How long will the bosses be available? The Pokémon will be in raids until the end of the Christmas event. The event ends on January 1 at 11:59 PM. After that, there will be a few more days with the bosses around Viridium before they get replaced as well.
