The 2nd part of this year’s Halloween event in Pokémon GO has been announced. And it brings some strong content.
From October 21 to October 27, 2025, the first part of this year’s Halloween event will take place in Pokémon GO. Although there are still a few days to go until then, the information for the 2nd part of the event has already been announced.
So far, there was only a teaser image which did not cause much of a stir in the community. Nevertheless, the event brings some strong content that should satisfy both attackers and collectors in Pokémon GO.
Halloween 2025 Part 2 – All Event Content
When does the event run? The 2nd part of the event starts on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM and ends on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 8:00 PM.
What new costumed monsters will be in the event? During the event, you can encounter Teddiursa with a witch hat and eF-eM with a headband for the first time. Both monsters can also be evolved into Ursaring or Ursaluna with a witch hat and UHaFnir with a headband.
Both monsters can be found in the wild. The chance of encountering both monsters as Shiny is also increased.
What bonuses are there in the event? On October 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with the start of the 1st part of the event, all trainers in Pokémon GO will receive the Halloween GO-Pass. This includes strong candy bonuses when you reach certain milestones:

Additionally, the event brings the following bonuses regardless of your progress in the GO-Pass:
- Chance for special candies and XL special candies when catching costumed monsters with nice, great, and fantastic throws (only on October 31, 2025)
- increased Shiny chance for costumed monsters after raid battles
- increased Shiny chance for Fatalitee when you defeat it in the raid
Which Pokémon will be in raids? You can also encounter special monsters in raids during this event. There are even 2 Crypto monsters that will be available in Crypto raids for the first time.

- Plinfa with Halloween Mischief costume*
- Fatalitee*
- Mortcha
3-Star Raids:
- Gengar with Halloween costume*
- Drifzepeli with Halloween Mischief costume*

- Crypto-Makabaja
- Crypto-Paragoni
All monsters marked with a * can also appear as Shiny.
What rewards are there in field research? If you complete event field research, you can obtain several monsters as well as Mega energy. The following rewards can be obtained:
- Pikachu with Halloween Mischief costume*
- Teddiursa with witch hat*
- Froxy with witch hat*
- eF-eM with headband*
- Bauz with Halloween top hat*
- Kryppuk* (rare)
- Mega energy for Gengar, Hundemon, Zobiris, Banette, and Absol
Pokémon marked with a * can also appear in their Shiny form.
Additional content of the event: During the event, you’ll find various Halloween decorations in the game as well as a Lavandia music when playing at night. In the in-game shop, you can also buy a Mortipot hat for your avatar as well as stickers that you can also obtain by spinning PokéStops or opening gifts.
