In celebration of the 2nd generation in Pokémon GO the bag spaces in the shop are temporarily cheaper. The offer starts soon.
This week, Niantic’s mobile hit Pokémon GO will add more than 80 new Pokémon from the 2nd generation. The release of the new monsters from Pokémon Gold and Silver was confirmed by the developers yesterday. To prepare for the upcoming adventures, discounts on Pokémon storage will be available soon.
Pokémon Storage Plus with 50% Discount
Until yesterday, the Valentine’s Day event in Pokémon GO was active, which unlocked various bonuses for trainers such as double candy and extended lures. Niantic announced that the enhanced lures will remain active until February 19 and trainers can utilize the time bonus for six hours instead of 30 minutes. Additionally, there will be a special offer in the shop in just a few hours, which will reduce bag space prices.
From February 16 to February 28, the Pokémon Storage Plus will cost 50% less PokéCoins.
In the official English message from Niantic, it is stated that this bonus will be unlocked in the afternoon of February 16 (PST). In Germany, that would be this evening around 10:00 PM (corresponding to 1:00 PM PST). You can find the Pokémon Storage Plus in the shop under the “Upgrades” category. With the 50% discount, 50 new slots will then cost 100 coins instead of 200 coins.
For the hunt for the new Pokémon, trainers have improved lures that each last for six hours and also the possibility to cheaply buy additional slots for storing the monsters.
