In summer 2016, Pokémon GO was released in Germany and has been used daily by many players since its launch. There are various goals to pursue in this augmented reality game, including reaching the maximum level. You start at Level 1, with the maximum being Level 40. With an online tool, you can now find out how much time you would need (approximately) for that.
How many days until max level?
To level up in Pokémon GO, you require more experience points with each higher level. To advance from Level 1 to Level 2, it takes 1,000 experience points. From Level 2 to Level 3, it’s already 2,000 experience points.
You need to collect a total of 20 million experience points in Pokémon GO to reach Level 40. Especially at higher levels, it takes a long time for the character to level up. From Level 39 to Level 40, you need 5 million XP.
With the online calculator, you can use your collected experience points to calculate when you will reach the highest level in Pokémon GO. To do this, first visit the calculator on PokémonGoHub.net . There you’ll see three empty fields that need to be filled with the corresponding information.
- In the first field, enter your accumulated experience points so far. You can find out how many points you’ve collected in the app. Start the game and click on your trainer avatar in the lower left corner of the screen. Now scroll all the way down to the “Statistics” section. There you’ll find your total XP.

- In the third field, select the level for which the duration should be calculated. For example, Level 40.
- Next to the calculator, you will be shown: In how many days you will reach the desired level, on which day you will likely reach that level, how many experience points you still need to reach that level, and how many experience points you gain on average per day.
So, if you’ve just reached Level 30, you’ve already collected about 2 million experience points. If you enter this data into the calculator and continue leveling at the same pace as before, you will reach Level 40 in just 4 years! In 2021, there would therefore be another reason to celebrate.
