The next Dyna Battle Day has been announced in Pokémon GO. This brings back a strong defender.
What kind of event is this? The Dyna Battle Day is an event where a Dynamax or Gigantamax monster is featured and appears in very high numbers over a period of 3 hours. It’s rounded off with many bonuses that are active during this time.
When is the event? The next Dyna Battle Day will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
An icy defender
Which monster can you expect? Gigantamax Lapras will celebrate its return at this event. The Pokémon debuted last year at the first Dyna Battle Day that was held in Pokémon GO. With a bit of luck, you can also get Lapras in its Shiny form.
Gigantamax Lapras is a strong defender that you can use in Dyna and Gigantamax battles. With its Ice and Water type combination, it is particularly resistant to Ice attacks.
What bonuses are there at the event? There are bonuses both during the event and in extended periods.
- 1/4 of the usual walking distance required to receive Dyna particles (from 00:00 to 17:00)
- double amount of Dyna particles while walking (from 00:00 to 17:00)
- Collection limit for Dyna particles increased to 1,600 particles
- Power sources replenish more frequently
- 8 times the amount of Dyna particles from power sources
- 2 additional special trades
- Limit for remote raids increased to 20 (from Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 2:00 AM to Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 5:00 AM)
Timed research: There will be a timed research available before the event. It starts on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 6:00 AM and lasts until Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
If you complete it successfully, you can receive a Dynamax Passimian for the first time. Additionally, you will receive Passimian candies and Dyna particles.
Event ticket: For $4.99 (around 5 €), you can also purchase an event ticket. Here you will receive a Dyna Mushroom and 25,000 experience points. Additionally, you will receive double the amount of experience points for Dyna battles as well as an increased limit of 5,600 Dyna particles.
