The Adventure Week was announced in Pokémon GO. It features a new Shiny as well as a Pokémon debut.
What kind of event is this? The Adventure Week is an event that has taken place in Pokémon GO in previous years. This year’s edition will start on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM and will run until Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 8:00 PM.
It brings you a monster in its Shiny variant for the first time, a brand new monster, and various Pokémon in the wild depending on your environment.
Adventure Week 2025 – All Event Contents
Which monster is available as Shiny? At the start of the event, you can find Schligda in its shiny form for the first time. You can find the monster in the area “Beaches and Water”.
Which Pokémon is making its debut? Tentagra is making its debut in the event. The Pokémon is from the 9th generation and has the types Ground and Plant. It can evolve into Tenterra. Visually, Tentagra resembles Tentacha.
You will find Tentagra exclusively in the area “Forests and Green Spaces” during the event. If you want to catch the monster, you will need to visit such an area. If you live in the countryside, you won’t have to travel far.
Which monsters are there in the wild? There are no special raids during Adventure Week. However, there are various monsters in the wild that appear in different areas.

All monsters marked with an * can also be encountered as Shiny with some luck.
Further event contents: In addition to special field researches where you can receive Stardust, special candies, and encounters with event Pokémon as rewards, there is also a free limited-time research.
If you successfully complete this, you will receive, among other things, 1 incense, 4 special candies, and further encounters with event Pokémon.
For $1.99 (approximately €2), you can also purchase a paid limited-time research. Here you will receive 3 lucky eggs, 4 special candies, and other event Pokémon. If you obtain the research in the Pokémon GO webstore, you will also receive an additional 3 max potions.
