With a small change, you can now find power sources and Dynamax battles more easily in Pokémon GO. We will show you how this works.
If you are looking for Dynamax battles, you can use the corresponding tab in the game to display the Dyna battles in your vicinity.
However, you will only see battles that are not too far from you, and you will also not know how long the Dynamax monsters are still present at these power sources.
A small change now provides a solution to this and can be a useful tool to discover power sources at a greater distance and check how long they will still be available.
Small change, great overview
What is this change? The change does not directly affect Pokémon GO, but the so-called Campfire app. This app is a supplementary application by Niantic, which helps you find teammates for raids more easily.
After the last update, Dynamax battles are now available in the app, which were previously not shown. This means you can now also see Dynamax battles in your area and distant power sources via the Campfire app.
Additionally, the app offers another advantage regarding power sources and Dynamax battles. When you click on a power source, you can see how long it will still be available and until when you have time to challenge the Pokémon.
Can I find trainers for Dyna battles this way? Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to mark power sources via Campfire and search for teammates, as is the case for raids. Whether this feature will be activated in the future remains to be seen.
Considering the huge number of trainers needed to complete Gigadynamax battles, this feature would definitely be helpful and would increase the chances of successfully participating in such battles.
