In Pokémon GO the new Special Research “A Poni Adventure” is now available for the Alola season. We at MeinMMO show you what tasks and rewards await you, so you can complete the research quickly.
What research is it about? Currently, the Alola season is active in Pokémon GO, during which you can tackle a total of four different Special Research tasks. If you complete all of them on time, you will also receive a bonus Special Research at the end of the season. The following researches are available:
- Special Research for Mele-Mele Island (available since March 1)
- Special Research for Akala Island (available since March 22)
- Special Research for Ula-Ula Island (available since April 12)
- Special Research for Poni Island (available since May 10)
- Special Research for the end of the season (available from May 25 to June 1)
With the upcoming start of the Water Festival on May 12, the corresponding Special Research named “A Poni Adventure” is now also available. During this, Professor Willow is on a quest to find the guardian of Poni Island: Kapu-Kime.

A Poni Adventure 1/4

Stage Reward: If you have completed and redeemed all three tasks, you will also receive an additional 500 XP, 500 Stardust, and a meeting with Alolan Raticate.
A Poni Adventure 2/4

Stage Reward: If you have completed and redeemed all three tasks, you will also receive an additional 500 XP, 500 Stardust, and a Quick TM.

A Poni Adventure 3/4

Stage Reward: If you have completed and redeemed all three tasks, you will also receive an additional 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust, and a Premium Battle Pass.
A Poni Adventure 4/4

| Win a Raid | Meeting with Alolan Exeggutor |
Stage Reward: If you have completed and redeemed all three tasks, you will also receive an additional 8,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and 15 Hyper Balls.
If you successfully complete this Special Research and have also solved the previous researches related to the Alola Islands, you will unlock an additional Special Research at the end of the season starting from May 25.
Alternatively, you can also secure it using a special ticket for about 5 € in the in-game shop. This way, you won’t have to complete all the tasks in advance.
