In the Pokémon GO community “TheSilphRoad” on Reddit, user “technoxenoholic” has created a theoretical plan for when one could reach level 80. Under absolutely ideal conditions and with a lot of effort, according to his calculations, it could theoretically be as early as November 13.
With a bit more realism, the user claims that it could be possible to level up to 80 around November 16, 2025. But only if you had all the necessary XP directly at the level change and then also started solving the tasks immediately. And even then, a lot has to happen.
Some highlights of the hurdles on the way:
- At level 72, one must earn 1,000,000 Stardust. That is quite a lot, and the user had to achieve it in approximately 6 days to make it by November 15.
- One must redeem 100 cryptos. This is possible if you already have them in your Pokémon collection. If not, it takes a long time.
- 30 raids must be won: Easy if you spend money or have enough raid passes. Free2Play needs 30 days for this.
- One must explore 200 kilometers. You can calculate how long it would take. The user recommends a bike – but just fast enough so that you’re still counted as “walking” by Pokémon GO.
- One must send 500 gifts. That is extremely much and is also limited by daily limits.
- Later, one must explore another 300 kilometers.
- And then another 400.
