In Pokémon GO the special research “A Mega Moment” is active and brings you some quests and rewards. We will show you all the contents of the research.
What kind of research is this? In Pokémon GO, the new Mega Evolutions have been available worldwide since the evening of April 28 . Niantic is celebrating this with a special research.
We will show you here an overview of all 4 chapters of the research with all tasks and rewards.
A Mega Moment 1/4
| Task | Reward |
| Catch 3 Pokémon | Encounter with Bulbasaur |
| Catch 3 Pokémon | Encounter with Charmander |
| Catch 3 Pokémon | Encounter with Squirtle |
Stage Reward: If you successfully complete all three tasks and claim your rewards, you will also receive 500 XP, 200 Stardust, and 10 Poké Balls.
Now you should choose between Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. The choice affects which encounters you will have in the next quests and for which Pokémon you will receive Mega Energy. In this example, we choose Venusaur and show how the research continues with this choice.
A Mega Moment 2/4

| Use 5 berries while catching Pokémon | 10 Great Balls |
| Use 5 power-ups | 10 Razz Berries |
Stage Reward: If you successfully complete all three tasks and claim your rewards, you will also receive 200 Mega Energy for Venusaur, 1 Raid Pass, and an Encounter with Venusaur.
A Mega Moment 3/4

| Perform a Mega Evolution with Venusaur | 1 Charged TM |
Stage Reward: If you successfully complete all three tasks and claim your rewards, you will also receive 1,000 XP, 600 Stardust, and 100 Mega Energy for Venusaur.
A Mega Moment 4/4

| Win a raid | 6 Revives |
| Defeat a Rocket Grunt | 2 Silver Razz Berries |
| Take a snapshot of your buddy | 6 Hyper Potions |
Stage Reward: If you successfully complete all three tasks and claim your rewards, you will also receive 2,000 XP, 1,500 Stardust, and 100 Mega Energy for Venusaur.
