However, it is still uncertain whether the other two birds of the trio can also appear as a research breakthrough.
On Reddit, Pokémon GO trainers are eagerly sharing the results of their first research breakthrough. It shows that Moltres is among the first rewards and is one of the legendary encounters. Items are also available for you.
Moltres as a Reward
During the encounter with Moltres, you can use any combination of balls and berries to make the catch easier for you. Unlike raids, where you could only catch Moltres with Premier Balls and berries, this principle is therefore much easier.
Unfortunately, Moltres is only level 15. This may be bad news for trainers with few resources to power up. However, if you just want to complete your collection, it is still the legendary bird Moltres.
A level 15 Moltres has CP values of at least 1222 CP to a maximum of 1402 CP. According to initial reports, none of the Moltres obtained through research breakthroughs has been below 1341 CP. This corresponds to an IV value of 10/10/10.
So far, it seems that the legendary Pokémon in this encounter cannot flee!
