In Pokémon GO there are currently three promo codes available that are related to the recently concluded World Cup.
These are the codes: The following three codes are currently circulating in the Pokémon GO community (for example on Reddit). They provide content that fits the Pokémon World Cup that just took place in Anaheim. They are:

Important: According to some players, these codes do not work if you have already redeemed the Twitch drops over the weekend for the World Cup. It is also unclear how long the codes will remain active. Therefore, you should redeem them quickly.
What do the codes grant? The codes provide you with various limited-time research tasks that will expire in just over 12 days. You have that much time to complete the research before it expires.
- One research is called “Champion of Pokémon WCS 2024” and apparently revolves around Panzaeron
- The second research is called “Greetings from Anaheim!” and gives you an encounter with Pikachu in a college jacket
- The third research “Team Spirit: Super League” offers you a monster choice with which you can build a Super League team.
In short: You can get some Pokémon here if you complete the research tasks.
How to redeem the promo codes for Pokémon GO
Redemption is not possible within the game. Instead, you must visit the official web store. Follow these steps:
- Visit the official Pokémon GO web store
- Click “Redeem Code”
- Log in with your credentials that you use for the game
- Enter the code
Now you should receive a message from the game that an offer has been redeemed. In the game itself, you can see in the limited-time research if you have the new ones. Also, your journal shows you when you have redeemed codes. In the journal, you should see that the corresponding code gave you a “badge”. This unlocks the limited-time research.
