Niantic has now announced a new update for Pokémon GO that will gradually be available to everyone. It is currently being distributed. It is unclear when exactly it will be ready for download for trainers in Germany. The last Update 1.7.0 or 0.37.0 was released for German trainers with a delay. The new update will include minor improvements to the game.
Changes with Patch 1.9.0 iOS/0.39.0 Android
On the official Pokémon GO website, the update was presented. It includes improvements for gameplay with Pokémon GO Plus and catch statistics.
- Catch location: On the info screen of a Pokémon, you can now see where you caught the Pokémon.
- Pokémon GO Plus and incense: Trainers now have the ability to catch Pokémon with the “GO Plus” device when incense is activated.
- Minor bug fixes
Additionally, it is stated on the Pokémon GO website that the developers appreciate the support from trainers. “Soon”, there will be exciting features and changes that trainers can look forward to. However, it is not revealed whether the PvP battles and the trading feature will be part of these exciting changes and features.
