In Pokémon GO your captured monsters are registered in the Pokédex, which is supposed to inform you about the individual Pokémon. However, these entries can sometimes just make you smile. MeinMMO author Franzi Korittke has looked at them and shows you her favorites.
Which entries are we talking about? In Pokémon GO, you can now catch numerous monsters. Each one you have secured or at least discovered somewhere is registered in your Pokédex.
So you will get an overview of which Pokémon are still missing from which region. But that’s not all, because at this stage of your game, you can also learn more about the individual captured monsters.
The texts often contain interesting facts about the respective Pokémon, for example, that the flame on Charmander’s tail indicates its emotional state. But sometimes these are just totally crazy and trigger a funny thought. I have summarized the 10 entries that made me smile directly below.
How was the ranking created? The order of the following ranking is based on my personal rating. Thus, I show you the monsters in ascending order of how much they made me smile. The ranking works its way up to the Pokédex entries that I found the funniest and that sparked the most vivid imagination.
10. Woingenau
When you think about it, the Pokédex entry of Woingenau is probably more questionable than funny, but I still had to chuckle at the thought of several Woingenau standing in a circle, staring at each other for hours without anyone wanting to give up to eat. At least you can’t accuse them of not being consistent.
When two or more Woingenau meet, they try to outlast each other in patience. They want to find out which Pokémon can survive without food the longest. Trainers need to pay attention to this.

9. Wonneira
And Wonneira shares a similar pitiable fate, which is also sweet and funny at the same time. It has a fascination for stones, risking its further movement for them.
Its naive nature reminds me of small children on a family outing, who also can’t decide but don’t want to go home without the perfect stone. I find that really cute and the thought puts a little smile on my face.
If it finds white, round stones, it stores them in its bag. Sometimes it carries so many that it can’t walk anymore.

8. Floink
Floink is also a candidate that gets himself into trouble with his clumsy behavior, thereby bringing a smile to some faces.
I imagine the little monster jumping excitedly in front of a nut, directing his flame at it, and then exclaiming “Oops!” because the temperature was too high. Floink should probably practice a bit more patience in the future. Maybe Woingenau can help him with that.
Floink loves to eat roasted nuts. However, it occasionally burns them unintentionally out of sheer eagerness.

7. Pikachu
Pikachu can probably share similar experiences. This Electric-type Pokémon sometimes misjudges its abilities too and instead of roasting nuts, it grills other items, like berries. Even Ash experienced this repeatedly at the beginning of the anime and became a victim.
Whenever Pikachu encounters something new, it shocks it with electricity. If you find a burned berry, this Pokémon misjudged its electric charge.

6. Azurill
A baby Pokémon that uses its abilities in a pretty cool way is Azurill. It throws its tail like a lasso and flies back afterward. The image in my head of an Azurill being catapulted through the air with its tail leading always makes me smile.

5. Eneco
The tail of Eneco has also fascinated the Pokémon from the 3rd generation. Here I have the typical cartoon image from my childhood where a cat chases its tail. This memory can only be funny.
Eneco is fascinated by moving objects and chases after them. This Pokémon often chases its own tail until it gets dizzy.

4. Alola-Kleinstein
Alola-Kleinstein has a special method of resolving disputes: with headbutts. This primarily reminds me of the infamous dwarf chess from the comedy “7 Dwarfs – Men Alone in the Woods”.
There, the dwarves play chess in their own way by hitting each other over the head with the board. I imagine something similar with Alola-Kleinstein.
Kleinstein resolves disputes with headbutts. The iron sand on their heads sticks to the one that has more magnetic force.

3. Rameidon
Another head-heavy Pokémon is Rameidon. The monster directly resembles a dinosaur, which is known to be extinct. According to Pokémon GO, however, a reason for this was not an asteroid, but its too small brain and thus its stupidity. However, this theory sounds so creepy that it’s funny again.
This prehistoric Pokémon, specialized in headbutts, is said to have gone extinct due to its small brain and stupidity according to a theory.

By the way: Rameidon is one of the best Rock-type attackers in the game.
2. Seemops
A Pokémon that is totally cute and whose behavior also brings a smile is Seemops. The Water and Ice-type monster shows its joy by clapping and has a real clap concert with its friends.
No wonder my mind imagines pictures of several Seemops rolling toward each other, similar to the trolls in Frozen, and finally sitting clapping in a circle in front of their food.
Seemops can roll faster than it can run. When groups of this Pokémon eat together, they clap simultaneously to show their joy. Therefore, their meals are very loud.

1. Seejong
The behavior of Seemops can only be topped by Seejong, in my opinion. The evolution of Seemops loves to play with its pre-evolution in its own unique way. The thought of it brightens my day and makes me laugh like a waddling penguin.
Seejong has the habit of juggling everything it sees for the first time on its nose. This Pokémon keeps itself entertained by sometimes balancing a Seemops on its nose and rolling back and forth.

However, there are still many monsters not yet in Pokémon GO. For this reason, we will surely find some other funny surprises in the texts of the Pokédex in the future.
