The event will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. So you only have 3 hours to take advantage of the event.
Contents of the Research Day
Which Pokémon have an increased shiny chance? If you complete event field research, you can receive Balgoras and Amarino as rewards. Both Pokémon also have an increased chance of appearing as shiny during the short event.

Which Pokémon are there in the wild? There will also be Pokémon in the wild during the event that thematically fit the focus on Fossil Pokémon. You can find and catch the following monsters:
- Amonitas*
- Kabuto*
- Liliep*
- Anorith*
- Koknodon*
- Schilterus*
- Galapaflos* (rare)
- Flapteryx* (rare)
All monsters in the wild can also appear as shiny Pokémon. However, the chance of this is not increased, but corresponds to the regular chance of encountering a shiny.
