The Playstation 4 open-world game WiLD by Rayman mastermind Michel Ancel has shown new gameplay scenes in Paris.
A year ago, in August 2014, we saw the first images of WiLD, a survival game where players can also take on the role of animals. WiLD takes place in a pre-civilizational, somewhat druidic time. Back then, we optimistically categorized it as an MMO.
Since then, little has been heard about WiLD. Now there were new images and gameplay at the game fair in Paris.
In the trailer, it says, WiLD is an open-world survival game about the coexistence of humans and nature. There is a huge world to explore, with individual experiences manifesting as tattoos on the player’s avatar, who possesses shamanic abilities.
Sounds exciting, but also surprisingly little like an MMO.
