Thousands of players agree on one thing: If one of their favorite NPCs from ARC Raiders were to receive a specific cosmetic, they would all be willing to pay for it.
What kind of cosmetic are we talking about? The player theBreG shared an image on Reddit, which has been celebrated by the community with nearly 6,000 upvotes. It shows a backpack on the back of a Raider that offers a glimpse of its contents through some kind of window. In there, you can see a small passenger, the NPC and helpful rooster Scrappy.
The poster of the image adds that this backpack with Scrappy is “the only cosmetic I’d spend real money on.” And with that thought, he is not the only one, judging by the many upvotes and reactions from the community. Because Scrappy and the idea for the backpack have many fans.
A rooster can unite the opinions of many players
How does the community react and what ideas do they have? Regarding the helpful rooster in ARC Raiders, the community seems to share a common opinion on Reddit: They needed this backpack yesterday.
“Embark, give me the Scrappy capsule and my life belongs to you,” pleads Varazzeno, and NickNair1089 also believes that the rooster deserves more attention in the game: “Why don’t we ever see a random Scrappy wandering around the map? I’d love to see that.”
Other players already have more specific ideas about what features such a Scrappy backpack could have. Instead of the signal flare that gets fired when a Raider goes down, the crowing Scrappy should be launched into the air. Or Scrappy could forgo the backpack altogether and run around with the player to collect loot.
As long as Scrappy is around, judging by the reactions, many players would be satisfied. The only condition is: Scrappy must stay safe.
