In Destiny 2, the Solstice of Heroes is currently taking place. For many players, the special highlight of the event is the little Sparrow Micro-Mini. One Guardian has urged the owners of this vehicle to tackle the racing section in the raid Scourge of the Past with the mini-speeders. One team has now somewhat mastered this task, but had an incredible amount of fun.
Which speedster is it about? With the Solstice of Heroes, new cosmetic items have returned to Destiny 2. Among them is the “best Sparrow of all time”. The tiny Sparrow looks just ridiculous, more like a children’s toy than a powerful and fast racing vehicle.
Players have already taken the Micro-Mini to their hearts. After the Sparrow was introduced, countless threads were opened in the Destiny subreddit that revolved around the little speedster.
One post posed the challenge to the upcoming owners of the Sparrow to tackle the racing section in the raid Scourge of the Past and make a video of it. Even Bungie’s Community Manager dmg got into the discussion and stated that he was also waiting for such a video.
A team has now taken on the challenge.
What can be seen in the video? The user Spicy_Godrolls shared a video on Reddit in which he and his companions speed through the raid Scourge of the Past – on the Micro-Mini. All six Guardians make their way through the rather challenging racing section on the little Sparrow.
To ensure that the idea does not arise that the players are taking it even remotely seriously, the video is also kept very silly.
In just under three minutes, you can follow how the Guardians attempt to get through the sector with the racing and jumping sections on the tiny Sparrows. It doesn’t seem to be that easy, as the Micro-Mini drives quite differently than its larger relatives.
Players definitely had visible fun during the chaotic activity and gave the Sparrow a cute nickname: Scooty Puff.
Meanwhile, several other Guardians have taken on this special challenge as well. You can find more videos in this Reddit post.
How do you get the Sparrow? Those who want the Micro-Mini can still buy it in the Eververse this week. The new items from the Solstice of Heroes can no longer be obtained from Bright Engrams. Instead, Guardians can buy the objects of their desire directly in the Eververse for Glimmer or Silver.
The vehicle costs 2500 Glimmer.
