A small YouTuber trained his sweet dog to play a round of Call of Duty: Warzone. MeinMMO shows you how Rosie managed to score 3 kills in the Battle Royale and how her owner achieved that.
What’s going on? Call of Duty: Warzone provides a hardcore action experience that has already produced a lot of crazy videos and scenes due to its size and versatility. However, a new video from small YouTuber “Will Archer” leans more towards cute and cuddly.
He got his dog Rosie to play a few rounds of the Battle Royale with him. While there was no epic victory at the end, the two ran around the map together and the loyal pooch even managed to score 3 kills.
What does it look like? Will uploaded the video on his YouTube channel and showcased the skills of his four-legged friend:
From minute 3:41 you can see how Rosie and Will move through Verdansk together. They play a total of 3 rounds and at the start of rounds 2 and 3, Rosie takes out a few AFK players who missed the jump. A strong performance for a being that doesn’t exactly fall in the target audience of the Battle Royale.
Sweet! How did he do it? To train Rosie for the Warzone, he improvises a dog controller that consists of only two buttons: run and shoot. Will inputs the other commands himself using the controller – like looting, switching weapons, and changing direction.
Before they went into matchmaking, he taught Rosie the two commands and explained to her that she should press the right button for “shooting” (Shoot) and the left button for “running” (Run). This came at the cost of some treats and the dog’s diet plan, but after a little practice, the intelligent animal had the commands down well.
While Rosie listened to her owner’s shooting/running commands to earn another tasty snack, Will tried to find decent weapons for the dog soldier.
In the end, there are 3 kills for the canine Warzoner in the kill feed. Although they were all players waiting at the edge of the map for their kick due to inactivity after the jump, they were also completely public matches under competitive conditions. A strong performance from a really sweet pooch.
What other crazy things can one do in the Warzone? A dog playing Battle Royale is already quite high on the list of insane “Call of Duty” stories. But there are one or two candidates that can keep up:
- A CoD MW player achieves a killstreak with a drum
- Sniper kill in the Warzone at over 2,500 meters
- A group of crazies tried to stop the loot train in the Warzone
It doesn’t always have to be about victory. Sometimes it’s just about having fun and being entertained for a while when you fire up Call of Duty. And if you want another victory in the Battle Royale, don’t necessarily grab your pooch, but one of the 10 most stable weapons in the Warzone – although Rosie would surely have hit better with those too.
