The drive of Diablo Immortal is, for most players, the hunt for better loot. With increasing difficulty, better equipment drops. A player has now reached the current maximum and shows what you all can look forward to.
What kind of items are these? The player funk_mans posted a picture on reddit in which he shows shoulder pieces from Hell 5. Hell 5 is currently the highest difficulty, granting the best loot.
The shoulder pieces require a Paragon of 240, which cannot currently be achieved. The current server Paragon limits how far you can level yourself.
In theory, even better items are possible in Diablo Immortal. However, this only happens with increasing Paragon, through which the equipment can gain more stats. For the moment, the shown items are the strongest in the game.
How good are the items? The shoulder pieces have the following stats:
- 139 Tenacity
- 138 Willpower
- 138 Strength
This results in a total stat budget of 415. In comparison: in Hell 4/Paragon 150, you have a budget of around 300 with 3 stats. The increase is therefore quite noticeable, especially when considering the additional boost from Resonance.
Additionally, there are some magical attributes, such as critical hit chance and increased base damage in this case. However, it appears that these do not yet differ from the weaker versions. Some players are disillusioned by this realization.
You can increase Resonance through legendary gems. In the video, we show you what the system is all about:
“Farming Hell 5 is currently pointless”
This is what players are saying: In the comments on reddit, users discuss whether farming is even worth it. The required Paragon for Hell 5 of 240 is currently unreachable, making the challenge there correspondingly tough.
Krimmarkjell explains: “I have almost the same stats on my Hell 4 chest. Farming Hell 5 with low Paragon is currently pointless.” This is neither a rant nor a complaint, but simply an observation.
Farming higher difficulties with low Paragon is a popular strategy. However, experts say it is useless:
Others are disappointed that the increase in stats is relatively small. However, many are simply thankful to see what they can still work towards.
Currently, to even farm Hell 5, players say you need equipment that can only be obtained with a lot of money. The topic of monetization and pay-to-win is still relevant even after 3 months, especially due to a new change:
Diablo Immortal is changing the biggest pay-to-win mechanic, and the scam behind it makes me sad
