Diablo 4 is released on June 6, 2023. A fan of the series wanted to check out the new hack-and-slash game, but passed away before the release. His friend shares the loss on Reddit and receives dozens of comments from users who support him and have great ideas.
This is the story: In a thread on Reddit, user Icy_Hospital_9690 expresses with the words: “There were only 4 weeks left, man …” his grief over a friend who was a big fan of the Diablo series.
“He was a bit uncertain about Diablo 4, didn’t play the beta, but wanted to play the server slam and the full game. Now he will never experience it …,” explains the user. His friend unexpectedly passed away after a stroke.
He doesn’t really know why he shares this with the community. But his post received over 1,500 upvotes and 180 comments within a few hours. Many fans express their sympathy and try to cheer the user up – successfully.
The server slam is the last beta test before the release of Diablo 4 on June 6. After the trailer, many fans got excited about it:
