In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, a new bug has appeared that steals ammunition from a player. We show you the curious bug.
This was shown: On reddit, the user Drop-rate uploaded a video of the bug. The post already has over 5,900 upvotes (as of June 17 at 11:00 AM).
The player simply has ammunition stolen without being able to do anything about it.
Dead players steal ammunition from players
Here is the clip: We embed the clip here that shows the bug:
The player walks through a building on the Piccadilly map and suddenly loses 40 shots of ammunition.
The player walked over a previously eliminated opponent and their weapon at that moment, causing them to lose the ammunition. It seems as if the player is picking up the ammunition from the opponent and simply giving away their bullets in return.
What do other players say about it? Many players find the bug funny. The reddit user jibrawn says: “Dude, dead people are stealing your damn ammunition!”
There aren’t many discussions about this bug. It doesn’t seem that many other players are affected. The reddit user RamTank has a possible explanation: “If I had to guess what happened, you were running around with a 9mm pistol and somehow your ammunition exceeded the allowable total reserve (180). When you then walk over the rifle, the game does a check again and corrects it.”
So a huge bug is not to be expected here. It still looks funny when the player suddenly has their ammunition stolen by a dead opponent.
We at MeinMMO have requested a statement from Activision and wanted to know if this bug is widespread or only affects a few players. So far, we are still waiting for a response.
Are there more funny bugs like this? Last year, there was a bug that made a huge boat sail across the map. This made it nearly impossible for players to play, but due to the absurdity, the affected player could only laugh.
In another bug in Battle Royale Warzone, a dog suddenly appeared, even though dogs are not available in Warzone. Even more absurd: The dog was a weapon that the player could pick up. Here, too, there was hearty laughter about the bug.
