A player from Dune: Awakening offers free access to fuel at their gas station. A sign indicates the service, even though this feature is actually yet to come.
What kind of gas station is this? It consists of 2 pumps, a canopy, a storage chest with vehicle fuel cells, and … a sign that prominently displays the letters G A S. The English word “Gas,” meaning petrol.
Since there is currently no way to place real signs in the world of Arrakis or label boxes, the creative player Gaudette233 came up with something and arranged the small wall lights to form the letters.
According to the post, everyone has access to the contents of the chest. It’s a nice gesture – the “Small Vehicle Fuel Cell” would cost 500 Solari at any vendor. Depending on the player’s base position, this can actually be really helpful during the rather long exploration trips through the Haga Basin, saving a lot of frustration and even virtual lives.

[…] I will keep the generators running, refill the blood reserves, install more fuel cells, and the base will have 200,000 ml of water that will be publicly accessible. […] I hope to set up a series of small bases with water and fuel in the north and the far west of the map, along with power, so vehicles can be safely stored in case of sandstorms.”

The developers are already planning to significantly improve the base/resource management, for example, by allowing storage chests and vehicles to be named.
