In recent days, many fans have been waiting for the delivery of their “Xbox Series X” consoles. One of them received a note from the delivery driver along with the package, which absolutely no one asked for.
What happened? On November 10th, it finally happened. The release of the first next-gen console Xbox Series X had come. Many gamers around the world headed to the stores to pick up their pre-orders or eagerly awaited the delivery truck to finally show up with their loot. Due to the currently raging corona pandemic, many customers prefer to have their console delivered.
Even reddit user smash1031 waited for his Xbox Series X delivery, which was supposed to be made by the delivery service FedEx. But when the package arrived, he found that the driver had left his opinion on it unasked.
On the delivery note, it said “PlayStation is better”. Obviously, the driver was a PS5 fan and wanted to let his customer know.
How are other players reacting? The image of the FedEx package has also made its way onto reddit and social media. In the Xbox Series X subreddit, the thread has received 2323 upvotes and 278 comments (as of November 12, 2020, 11:00 AM).
While some responded to the message with “UPS is better than FedEx” to take a small jab at the delivery service, others took it in stride. Reddit user gated73 wrote:
I never get FedEx people with a sense of humor.
Other users shared their own experiences with the FedEx delivery service. The drivers wished them a lot of fun and a “Happy Xbox Day” upon delivering their consoles.
The recipient himself also did not take the message too seriously. In the thread, he wrote:
[…] I have no problem with him leaving his opinion. He is obviously a gamer who just likes Sony more and decided to have some fun. I found it funny and wanted to share it with you. Have fun with your consoles, guys.
