An End with Impact
For almost 13 years, the servers of the MMO shooter PlanetSide ran, but last Friday, on July 1, 2016, the curtain fell for the game.
The remaining players gathered in time to witness and “celebrate” the downfall of the game and the servers. As it is fitting for an apocalypse, the game ended with a meteor shower that engulfed the entire game world before the connection was severed. The fans of the game will likely find a new home in PlanetSide 2.
