- Go to the support menu and find the option “Issue Account Linking Code”. This code is valid for 15 minutes.
- After starting PSO 2 on Steam, select “Your Ship” and enter the code.
- Note: The code can only be used when you start the client on Steam for the first time. Do not create a character or Player ID before linking the accounts.
How to link Steam with other accounts: Of course, the step can also go the other way if you later want to use the Steam account for Xbox, after all, PSO 2 offers crossplay between platforms:
- Open the game on Steam and access the menu to find the “Account Linking Code”.

Can links be removed again? An account can never be separated from its original platform. An account from the Microsoft Store will always remain such an account.
