The Chinese MMO giant Perfect World (Neverwinter) has announced a new MMORPG for PC and current-gen consoles. “World of Jade Dynasty” is designed for the Chinese market and is expected to offer massive PvP battles.
In China, they are still making PvP MMORPGs. With “World of Jade Dynasty,” Perfect World is sending the next one into the race. Unusual: It is also set to be released for the current-gen consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Here, they took a first leap onto the consoles with Neverwinter and want to continue that, to establish themselves outside the PC market.
World of Jade Dynasty aims to shine with PvP, promising large battles with Chinese airships. Servers are said to be able to “collide”. There are also expected to be sandbox elements. There is no news yet about a possible Western port at this early stage of development. The game is set to start its first early test on June 23.
