The developers of Path of Exile 2 have announced the next class for the ARPG in a new teaser. They also reveal the date for the next season.
Which class is coming? The developers of Path of Exile 2 are fulfilling a major fan wish, as the new class will be the Druid. The class has been talked about for months, and fans have hoped for the release of the Druid before every season announcement; now it is finally becoming a reality.
The Druid has the ability to shapeshift into an animal form, offering a very special playstyle. The announcement trailer already shows that the Druid can transform into a werewolf during a full moon. But this is not the only announcement in the short teaser.

New season dedicated to the Druids
What else have the developers announced? The developers of Path of Exile 2 have announced not only the Druid but also the next season. It will be fully focused on the new class, as shown by the name: “The Last of the Druids”.
The new season, which will also bring a large content update for Path of Exile 2, starts on December 12 at 20:00 CET. All new content regarding the Druid and the big update will be available a bit earlier on December 4 at 20:00 CET on Twitch.
How are fans reacting to the announcement? For many players, the Druid fulfills a long-held wish. Consequently, players are reacting joyfully to the announcement that the class is finally coming to the game. They write on Reddit:
