With the melee carry Yin, the action MOBA Paragon could become a nightmare for opposing ranged fighters: as projectiles return straight to the enemy.
Paragon is available for PlayStation 4 and PC as a free-to-play title. After a much publicized change in December 2016, where action and faster combat were put in the foreground, Paragon is flourishing and has significantly increased its numbers.
Paragon has had great graphics and high production values from the start. After all, behind the project are Epic Games, the creators of the “Gears of War” series. Now the gameplay also seems to fit the spirit of the times.
Paragon continues its mission to bring many new heroes to the action MOBA in 2017. Approximately every three weeks, a new hero is set to be released.
This time, a melee carry named Yin is on the menu.
Yin relies on a kind of “laser whip” and creates quite a whirlwind and chaos. Wind magic underlines her skill set. In the video, Epic Games introduces the new melee carry in German.
The Abilities of Yin
Yin belongs to the type “Raider Attacker” with the keywords “Zoner, Untouchable.”
Her abilities are:
- Wind Burner – Increases the range of the auto-attack and deals cleave damage
- Whip Jump – Allows Yin to jump to a targeted enemy, ally, or minion. If it’s a villain, Yin also deals damage.
- Backlash – Forward-facing AE damage that can knock back projectiles
- Ultimate Hindering Whirlwind – Yin surrounds herself with a whirlwind that slows down enemies and hostile projectiles around her
