Paragon focuses on CrossPlay between Playstation 4 and PC – but does it create disadvantages for one side due to the controls?
Create a fair battlefield in Paragon – with gamepad or keyboard
In the upcoming action MOBA Paragon, which is currently still in closed alpha phase, the focus is entirely on the CrossPlay feature. In short, this means that players on PS4 and PC can play together against each other.
According to the developers, there should not be any disadvantages when using a controller instead of a keyboard and mouse. The gameplay of Paragon is said to be “a bit slower and more tactical” than in shooters, for example. However, if someone is not convinced of this, they can also simply plug in a keyboard and mouse on the PS4 to offset any “disadvantages” in handling.

The developers state:
“In Paragon, it’s not all about jerky movements or the 360 no-scope headshot; it compensates for this quite significantly. Of course, it is our goal to make the controls so that you won’t notice any significant differences – a skilled player on a gamepad should be able to compete with a skilled player on mouse and keyboard. Some of our internal top players used a controller and are very successful.”
How exactly this will work with the CrossPlay will be detailed by the developers in the coming weeks and months.
Besides that, a character from Paragon has been introduced in more detail. Take a look at the stealth character “Kallari” and his abilities (which strongly resemble a ninja) in this video:
